Experience Order

There are many orders in which to watch Star Wars. None of them are right or wrong. But I have found that this Order gives you the best experience in terms of narrative.

MOVIES FIRST, THEN TV

Contrary to popular belief. The best experience in my opinion is not a holistic view of the story, but a story told allowing the viewer room to put the puzzle pieces together in hindsight, giving them the a-ha!

A NEW HOPE
THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK
RETURN OF THE JEDI
THE PHANTOM MENACE
ATTACK OF THE CLONES
THE CLONE WARS (FILM)
REVENGE OF THE SITH
SOLO
ROGUE ONE
THE FORCE AWAKENS
THE LAST JEDI
THE RISE OF SKYWALKER

THE CLONE WARS (TV SERIES)*
STAR WARS REBELS (TV SERIES)
THE MANDALORIAN
THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT
STAR WARS: RESISTANCE (TV SERIES)

Why this order? Because you can smoothly transition from one era
to the next and follow the TV series in chronological order
filling in your movie experience along the way and leading straight
into the most relevant era for the TV shows: The New Republic.

*The Clone Wars has a preferred Chronological viewing
order that you can refer to here:
